I’ll be producing the video onto DVD widescreen for this year’s show on February 13, 2010 at Rose Hill High School.  Here is a short trailer that I produced for the show last year:

Sometimes you encounter crazy stuff on the golf course (other than the bad shots).  Look what happened when I was playing golf several years ago!  Yep, that’s me trying to putt.

I’ll be posting some new stuff here soon. I will show some 8mm film conversion samples, and a few highlights from recent activity.

I am long overdue completing this wedding film, along with several others. I really enjoyed working with Brandon and Megan, and I wish I had the opportunity to meet them earlier. I will post more clips from their big day as I get them completed or nearly completed. This one still needs some audio editing for voices and some color correction, but it is getting close.

I posted a PAFI video at the bottom of this blog. I have taped several of their South Central Kansas Winter Guard Festivals.

I attended the KSVPA meeting this last week and saw a demo of the Panasonic AG-HMC150 HD video camera. I did have my mind set on something else, but I have now decided that this camera is it! Now, if I could just take out a second mortgage and sell a kid or two I might be able to afford several of these. The guest speakers at the meeting were Mark and Trisha Von Lanken from VonWedding Films of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Kristin and Matt were married at Asbury Church in Wichita on September 13th, 2008. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet the couple until their rehearsal on the Friday evening before. In some ways I felt that I already knew a few things about them, because I created a photo montage played before their wedding as their guests were seated.
Kristin spent a little bit of time before the wedding getting ready, and Matt took the usual 5 minutes for the groom to get dressed and ready (ha!).
After the wedding the couple had their reception at the Grand Chapel.
