I had the privilege of working with Benjamin and Brooke and their fantastic families this last weekend. What a beautiful wedding! I started the weekend by attending the rehearsal and snapped some pretty spiffy photos with a Canon 7D at their rehearsal and the dinner afterward. Although I didn’t know it at the time, the rehearsal dinner was a beach party theme, and I just happened to wear a tropical print shirt! I would like to say I saw that coming, but it was just luck. I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the couple’s fantastic parents.
On Saturday morning I checked in with Brooke at Mary Kate Salon while she was getting her hair done. Shortly thereafter, she was off to Bethel Life Center church where the rest of the day’s festivities occurred. Brooke wore a beautiful cream-colored gown that was stunning! The bride’s attendants all wore black dresses, and there were some purple highlights that complemented the classy look of the decorations and venue.
The families prepared the yummy meals for many guests that attended the reception. The garter toss at the reception was a tad awkward because the young gentlemen that caught it accompanied my oldest daughter to the wedding, and one of the pastors said it would be easy to have another wedding in 20 minutes!
